R.C.I.A.

Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (Catechumenate).

This is the Church’s process for preparing adults for initiation into the Catholic Church. The RCIA is a communal process and involves a number of stages punctuated by liturgical rites to aid and assist the candidate toward the final rite, usually at the Easter Vigil at which time they will become full members of the Catholic Church. Any adult parishioner is invited to assist and/or invited to attend for faith enrichment.
